    Description

    The PAEC Technology Leadership Academy is a one-year program designed to facilitate PAEC District Staff becoming Certified Educational Technology Leaders. Participants will work to increase skills and knowledge in the following CoSN CETL areas of Leadership & Vision, Understanding the Educational Environment, Managing Technology & Support Resources, and Core Values & Skills

    Key Goals

    Successful completion of the PAEC Technology Leadership Academy will prepare participants to pass the Consortium of School Networking (CoSN) Certified Educational Technology Leader (CETL) Certification Exam.

    Who Should Attend?

    Technology/I.T. Directors, Instructional Technology Staff, Network Administrators, and Technology Support Staff.

    Where

    Northwest Regional Data Center (Third Thursday) or location otherwise noted on syllabus. Program activities will be conducted in conjunction with Technology Advisory Council Meetings. COSN content review activities will be conducted online using virtual meeting spaces and the Schoology Learning Management System.

    Registration

    Please register on the ePDC at www.paec.org A $925 registration fee will be charged for each participant in the program. Districts may want to write this activity into their DCP Plans as a provided technology professional learning activity.

    Registration Fee: A $925 registration fee will be charged for each participant in the program. This will cover the cost of access to CoSN study materials, CETL exam fee and other program costs

    Cancellation Policy for Events for Which There is a Charge. In the event you are unable to attend, please notify the named PAEC contact by e-mail at least 48 hours before the event date to receive a full refund. Individuals who register, but do not attend or cancel within 48 hours of the event date, will be charged the full registration fee.
    Cancellation Policy for Events for Which There is no Charge. For events made available at no cost, PAEC respectfully asks that you notify the contact person if you must cancel in order to give those on the wait list the opportunity to attend.
    PAEC reserves the right to cancel any session due to insufficient enrollment. Participants who have provided a working e-mail address and/or phone number will be notified by email or phone if a session is cancelled.
